In recent years, we have installed modern handling and processing equipment, including a McIntyre Bigfoot metal baler and a Niton XLF metal analyser. This gives us the tools needed to handle and process a wide range of scrap metals.

Our platform scale and weighbridge are maintained to a high standard and are visible to customers, allowing the weight of materials brought into the yard to be clearly checked.

We have a fleet of vehicles, allowing us to offer skip, roll on-off container, flatbed truck uplift and tipper services for larger loads.

Frank Kelbie Ltd deals in all types of non ferrous scrap metal, including copper, brass, lead, stainless steel, cables, light iron, cast iron and aluminium.

We buy from factories, demolition companies, engineers, slaters, electricians, plumbers, other scrap metal merchants and members of the public, handling everything from a few kilos to large tonnage.

When metals arrive at the yard, they are carefully graded and processed before being sold on for recycling and reuse.
